The Tandem Education Initiative

ABOUT US
The Tandem Education Initiative was born from the joint work of students from the University of British-Columbia in Vancouver and from Sciences Po in Paris.
Our founders studied Political Science, Economics and Sciences with a strong interest on Development, Sustainability Economics and Education. In early 2014, we wondered how to provide a long term and efficient help to Junior high school students located in a different part of the world.
The only things we had and could transmit were the knowledge and critical thinking we acquired from our education at university. Then, we decided to create Tandem: a one-to-one educational relationship between a student from a world leading university and a Junior high school pupil in need of tutoring.
